What Can I Expect?

Enjoyment. The most common reason given by my clients for maintaining a program is the sheer satisfaction of pushing beyond old limits, and creating new possibilities in life.

Challenge. I expect you to be ready to take the driver’s seat in your life.
Whilst you take responsibility for your life, I take responsibility for being with you as collaborator, sounding board, inquisitor, observer, provocateur and encourager.

Listening. To be truly heard without judgement, correction or advice is, in itself, is a rare gift. Whilst I use listening to help you generate deeper understanding of the events of your life, you may find yourself hearing your own voice with a clarity that has not been present for a long time.

Reflection. I will help you to powerfully observe your life. In the process you may gain fresh insight about how you operate, how it serves you, and how you may choose to exercise your right as the driver of your own life.

Questions & Input. In coaching you will experience questions that you have never asked yourself, and, with your permission I may share my own observations, interpretations and principles to stimulate the process.

Safety & Freedom. All coaching is practiced with the express permission of the client, in order to serve the client. The client is enshrined as the “owner” of the conversation. While the coach holds the client accountable for putting intentions into action, and challenges the client, the client is always in charge and enjoys absolute confidentiality and safety in the process.

Inspiration. The insights gained in this coaching process lead to opportunities for inspiration! You may find yourself making powerful decisions that change your life and influence others.

Transformation. As a coach I respect and acknowledge the client as having all the potential required to fulfil their life. Positive change is not about rejecting one’s current life, but making new choices to embrace it in a way that leads to new possibilities.

When will I not coach? It is important to draw the distinction between coaching and therapy. I do not diagnose or treat illness. Coaching is not a treatment that a client has “done to them” but a process in which the client engages in their own work. If a client cannot do the work, I cannot coach them. I will help a client seek appropriate professional help where applicable.

What’s Next?
Coaching involves commitment by coach and client, therefore I consider it vital that my clients are sure before proceeding. Equally, my best interests are served by having satisfied clients.
